I am very happy to introduce the first of my Gloaming-Fabrics-Inspired … Bloomers!
Finishing at 73″ square, she is a pixel-inspired project featuring large scale blossom blocks and interspersed with lacy little leaves.
She is joining our family of knit-inspired quilt patterns, which up until this point have all been quite wintery. I’ve been waiting to make a springy flower-inspired project ever since my First Snow project decided it would rather be a snowflake than a blossom, and the my blues and greens from my Gloaming collection were a perfect fit!
My favorite thing about making these pixely-projects are how quickly they come together! The building blocks for this entire quilt were strip-pieced, and out of all six of my quilt market projects, she was the fastest to put together, by far!
The pattern includes instructions for both traditionally pieced and strip-piecing. Digital patterns are available now, printed patterns are shipping right before the holidays, and kits can be pre-order below, with an expected shipping date of March 2018.
