I might have missed quilt market this fall, but my latest design did not! Introducing … Flora!
Now, “one-block-wonder” quilts aren’t typically my style … but this pattern is versatile and the resulting block is so fresh, fun, and ridiculously easy to put together, that I’m rather smitten … and I’ve already made two!
My first version is a crib-sized quilt featuring prints from Flourish by Ciana Bodini for Camelot Fabrics. The pattern includes instructions for making 10″ and 12″ blocks for a fat-quarter friendly crib or lap size.
If you’re looking for big blocks to show off some of your favorite, the pattern also includes instructions for making a giant 20″ block, using a variety of 2/3 yard cuts to make the full and queen-sized quilts.
If you happen to be at quilt market this weekend. you can visit our full-sized version in booth #617 with fabric designer Jackie McFee and her lovely collection, My Gray or the Highway for Camelot Fabrics.
We won’t have the My Gray or the Highway kits in stock until the fabric is released next July, but we do have a few Flourish kits left in stock – click here to shop!
