The Gathering Pattern is {finally} here!

Greetings friends!  I’d like to extend another huge thank you to all of you who participated in Gathering – our 2017 Mystery QAL.  As many of you might remember, I came down with pneumonia last spring and was out of {sewing} commission for the final month of our QAL.  And with the 12 or so quilts that were in the pipeline after this project, it got bumped to the end of the line …

I am so very happy to finally be able to share my finished project with you!  I made the throw-sized version, and she’s just the right size for snuggling up on the couch with my lads!

Gathering features my signature stars against some gorgeously graphic, large-scale flowers, and a lovely, modern lattice.  We used my favorite stitch-and-flip method to quickly put together some stars and flying-geese-ish blocks, and the whole project comes together with just one large block, plus a sashing block and some solid cornerstones.

{pics of YOUR quilts coming soon – check them out on Instagram too!}

While the mystery clues were only available during the QAL last spring, the non-mysterious, yet equally alluring traditionally formatted pattern – offering THREE size options – is now available.  And by some crazy miracle of good timing, I managed to find the two missing prints, and so we have a very limited number of kits back in stock.  Once they’re sold out, they’re gone for good …

If you’ve never played along with one of our mystery quilt-alongs, you’ll have another chance to this spring!  Our 2018 Mystery Quilt Along project is called Moonlit Paths.  It is a brand-new design in our signature style, and the best part is that we get to play with prints from my brand new fabric collection, Gloaming.  More information about next year’s project can be found here.
